PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA (June 27, 2025) – A pursuit of a speeding motorcyclist took a deadly turn in Woodbridge on Thursday, June 26.
A Virginia State Police trooper identified a motorcycle going 115 mph at 1 a.m.
The trooper unsuccessfully tried to pull the motorcyclist over, initiating a pursuit. The motorcyclist continued onto southbound Interstate 95, exiting at Exit 152A, before driving onto Richmond Highway (Route 1). The motorcyclist lost control and went off the left side of the road. They struck a median, throwing them off. They were reported dead at the scene.
Police said suspected narcotics and cash were located on the motorcycle.
