PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD (April 17, 2025) — A collision involving a car and a scooter in Prince George’s County killed a man on Tuesday, April 15.
The Prince George’s County Police Department responded at 6 p.m. to the 4500 block of Rhode Island Ave. There was a crash involving a scooter and a vehicle, which killed a 60-year-old Jerome Marshall, who had been riding a scooter. He and a car collided in the northbound lanes of Rhode Island Avenue.
The man was transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead a short time later, according to police. The driver of the car was not injured.
The cause is still under investigation.
