These include a $77 million settlement in a wrongful death case; a settlement of $17 million for a defective product; a $15.2 million settlement in a truck accident case; $14 million settlement in a defective product case; $11.5 million settlement for a young child injured in a race; an $11.3 million settlement for a woman severely burned as a result of a defectively designed automobile; a $7.3 million verdict for medical malpractice; and a $6.5 million verdict for a customer who was severely injured in a Walmart.
He is described by his colleagues as a “lawyers’ lawyer” and “the go-to-personal injury lawyer in the DC Metro area.” He has been a commentator on local and national media outlets such as The Today Show, Fox News, WTTG, CBS News, WJLA, and WRC.

He is also board certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is a Master of the Bench for the Thurgood Marshall American Inn of Court and is the President of the D.C. Pat is licensed to practice law in Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland. He received his B.A. at Hamilton College and his J.D. at the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America.
