Meet Washington DC Attorney Jacqueline Colclough

Washington DC attorney Jacqueline Colclough, partner at Regan Zambri Long PLLC, is a nurse in addition to being a lawyer. This experience gives her unique insight into medical malpractice cases and other personal injury claims. In this video, Jackie explains her background and experience working at our firm.
I grew up in southern New Hampshire and I went to school locally. I went to school initially in Boston and then finished up in southern New Hampshire. And then I went to law school at Catholic U., here in D.C., which is also where my partner, Pat Regan, went. And I stayed in the D.C. area. And I practiced law from 1991 until 1993 here in D.C. Moved to New York for a short period of time. Practiced law there and then I came back in ‘95. And I’ve been here since ‘95 practicing law for the most part. I took a brief break from practicing law in the early 2000s. When I made a decision to begin working here, at Regan, Zambri & Long twelve years ago, I knew that our firm had a wonderful reputation in the D.C. metropolitan area. I didn’t know what a wonderful reputation it was until I then entered the plaintiffs’ bar and got to know some of my colleagues in the D.C. Trial Lawyers Association and in other colleagues who were involved in the legal profession and personal injury work in particular. As a new person to the legal community in the plaintiffs’ bar, when I would introduce myself, folks would ask me who I worked with. And I would say Regan, Zambri & Long, and the reaction I always got was, wow. And I very readily realized how fortunate I was to be associated with this firm. I think what makes me most proud of who we are and what we do is that we are we are tireless in pursuing our cases and investigating our cases. We’re passionate with our clients causes. And we are principled. And I’m very proud of that. And I’m very proud of the work we do. And the commitment we have to our clients in our community here.
