PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA (February 18, 2025) – A teenage driver was killed and three other were injured in a car accident in Dumfries, Virginia, on February 16.
According to news reports, the crash occurred near Dumfries Road and Van Buren Road. The 18-year-old was driving eastbound on Dumfries Road when the vehicle crossed the median into oncoming traffic and collided with a Cadillac Escalade traveling in the opposite direction.
Investigators believe the teen was driving above the posted speed limit at the time of the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the vehicle along with two others in the Cadillac were transported to nearby hospitals with injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
