Montgomery County, MD (February 5, 2025) – A Takoma Park police officer was injured following a two-vehicle crash on February 4.
According to news reports, Montogomery County Police Department officers were called to the scene of an auto accident in the area of Pine Branch and Park Valley Road where an officer was injured. According to investigators, the police officer was driving his cruiser when the other driver crashed into him. It was later revealed that the driver was impaired at the time of the accident.
The driver, a woman, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. It is not known whether the officer involved in the crash was operating a dashboard camera or body-worn camera at the time of the accident.
