Driver Injured Following 2-Vehicle Crash in Fairfax County, VA

A man was sent to the hospital for critical injuries following a two-vehicle collision on December 27 in Fairfax County, Virginia. According to news reports, Fairfax County officers responded to a car crash at Route 7 and Serenity Woods Lane in Great Falls around 10 a.m.

Police said the driver of one of the vehicles was taken to Reston Hospital in life-threatening condition.

Police closed Leesburg Pike to traffic in both directions since the crash left extensive debris all over the road.

It is unclear what caused the accident. Police are still investigating.
