Regan Zambri Long personal injury lawyer, Emily C. Lagan, is featured in an article in the January/February 2024 edition of the D.C. Bar’s Washington Lawyer magazine.
In “Deep in the Trenches: New Attorneys Define Their Success,” Lagan discusses her approach to representing injury victims. She says that organization and managing expectations are essential to stress management. “The importance of our work on behalf of our clients is an enormous burden, but it is also a tremendous privilege,” she said in the article.
Lagan is the co-chair of the D.C. Bar Early Career Lawyers Community, which provides lawyers with less than ten years of experience the chance to connect with others who have been in their shoes, grow their network, and develop their skills. She was recently elected as Secretary of the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia and has been the co-chair for the New Lawyers Division and the Young Lawyers Committee of the Women’s Bar Association.
Since 2021, Lagan has been selected to the District of Columbia Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers and is rated as “One to Watch” by Best Lawyers in America®.
Lagan, who began practicing law in 2018, represents victims of catastrophic injuries as well as families of those who lost a loved one in an accident. During her time at Regan Zambri Long, Lagan has helped victims injured by gas explosions, medical malpractice, auto accidents, defective products, and more.
