The Biggest Auto Accident Stories of 2020

5 stars

While COVID-prompted remote work has some of us staying at home and away from our local freeways, negligent drivers are as common as ever in 2020. If anything, negligence is even worse among some drivers, who assume that they can get away with irresponsible behavior when roads are less crowded. In other cases, road rage leaves drivers and passengers vulnerable to deadly collisions. A few of the year’s most noteworthy accidents are detailed below:

Ashley “Ms. Minnie” Ross Dies in Disputed Accident

In April, reality star Ashley Ross was involved in a head-on accident. Known as Ms. Minnie from the show Little Women: Atlanta, she was initially thought to have died in a hit-and-run. Eventually, however, evidence revealed that Ross veered into the opposite lane of traffic. Now, she is believed to have been at fault for the crash.

Joey King’s Car Crash Lawsuit

While Kissing Booth star Joey King’s car accident thankfully did not end in a fatality as with the crash referenced above, it’s expected to produce plenty of legal drama. The actress has been accused of not compensating a car crash victim, who suffered a severe shoulder injury after she pulled out of a metered spot and caused a collision.

MAGA Road Rage Incident Leads to a Flipped Car

Not all of this year’s headline-grabbing crashes involved celebrities. In late November, a Mustang was flipped following an altercation involving two cars adorned in MAGA gear. The family in the car that was flipped intends to sue, in part because a baby was in the vehicle at the time of the accident.

Whether your car crash resembles those in the above stories or looks a little different, you can benefit from the aggressive advocacy provided at Regan Zambri Long PLLC.
