Here’s a clearer, better-organized version:
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that multi-vehicle or chain reaction accidents are particularly dangerous, causing over 13,000 deaths annually—more than 40% of all motor vehicle fatalities. These crashes, which commonly occur on highways and major roads during adverse weather, are typically more lethal than accidents involving one or two vehicles.
