On April 30, 2016, the Drug Enforcement Administration of the U.S. Department of Justice will sponsor the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. This initiative is designed “to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.”
