Dear RZL Clients:
All of us at the firm send our thoughts to you and your families during this COVID-19 outbreak. In this anxious time, we encourage you to practice social distancing, wash your hands often, and take the other steps set forth by the CDC. The goal here is to stay healthy, protect others, and avoid overwhelming our health-care system.
We also encourage you to help those less fortunate in your communities. Here are some ideas: call your elderly and infirmed neighbors to see if they need help with groceries, make homemade masks for local distribution, or donate to area food banks. Let’s try to help each other through this challenging time. Together, of course, we will get through this pandemic.
You may also be concerned about your legal case. We at RZL have been preparing for COVID-19 for months now, since January. All staff and lawyers were provided with the technology they need to fully perform their jobs from home. Everyone is working remotely, although we have some lawyers and staff in the office each day to accept and review mail and to be sure the firm is fully operational.
Our case-management system allows us to have complete access to all medical records, bills, and other legal documents we need to move your case forward. Given that our lawyers and staff have full remote access to our case-management system, and with email and voicemail, we are able to push your cases forward and respond promptly to your questions or concerns. Our team is also connected via video-conferencing, which allows us to visually communicate with each other and others.
While it is true that the legal system has slowed because courts have, for the most part, closed, we are still hard at work, aggressively advancing your case. We remain in contact with opposing counsel, insurance companies, medical providers, experts, and others. We are committed to moving your cases forward, even in these difficult times.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Stay well.
